- ⚠️ Health & Safety:
- Not recommended for pregnant women or anyone with heart, pulmonary, knee issues, or vertigo. This is a demanding 16km hike.
- Gear & Supplies:
- Mandatory: Sturdy hiking or athletic shoes (no sandals/flats).
- Water: Bring a reusable bottle; refill it at natural springs along the trail.
- Food: Pack light snacks and energy bars.
- Poles: Hiking poles may be available for rent (subject to availability).
- Local Fees (Cash Only):
- Entrance fee and boat ticket are paid on the spot. Our guide will assist you with the group's ticket issuance.
- Gorge Entrance Fee: €10
- Boat Ticket (Agia Roumeli-Sougia): €15
- Prohibited in the Gorge:
- Radios, singing, loud noise, littering, alcohol, and smoking (except at designated rest points).
- Facilities:
- Toilets are available at the entrance, the halfway village, the exit, and Agia Roumeli. The halfway village also has a pharmacy, emergency phone, and mules for injured hikers.
